Hello Everyone!
If you dont recognize my name, on FF.net I am Fire Inferno, the author of "The True Nature of Terabithia"

Nice RPG! (Just thought I'd say that) This is technically my first RP forum so I am really excited to get my character up! Just a little more work on his character profile and I'm ready to go! But anyways, time for the real meaning of the post.

As you may have seen on the Forum at FF.net, I am planning on making a B2T fansite (name TBD). There are ZERO (that I can find) fansites out there that really give this awesome story the attention it deserves.

The main purpose of the site would be a resource center for information, news, media and fan submissions. The information included would be character profiles, plot summaries, setting information, Terabithia information, and much more. While news regarding B2T specifically would be slower, we would report anything relating to the actors (Josh, AnnaSophia, etc) as well site updates. The largest area of the website would be devoted to media. We would have official and fanmade wallpapers, icons, avatars, signatures, artwork, writings, video and music.

Because I am a fan fiction writer, most of the site will be geared towards the writers/musicians/directors/actors out there who dedicate their work to B2T. For example, in the character biographies, I might include good adjectives to describe each of the characters/creatures of the story. There would be cosplaying directions for all your favorite actors/actresses including good places to find all their clothes.

So, I would love to hear what you all think of this idea. I would love feedback (positive and/or negative (I can take it ^_^)). Also, anyone interested in helping write biographies/summaries/etc for the site is welcome to help! Any help you are willing to offer will be graciously accepted.

Oh, and if my application goes through, we might also be thefanlistings.org official “Jess and Leslie” fanlisting!

I like the idea of a good, solid fansite for this story, and I like the name Place For Us (placeforus.net). If it's possible it might be fun to have that song "Place For Us" by Leigh Nash play in the background.

Good idea! I was planning on doing something similar a while back, but I never got around to it.

I'd be willing to contribute to the site, as well as help out with its design. I'm not sure what your web-design skill set is, or what you plan to do, but I have a good amount of experience with HTML/CSS. I'm not very good at designing the layout of the site on paper, but I can help out with coding, etc. where needed.

This is something that I'd definitely like to see, so I hope it comes to fruition!

@FM: I'm pretty good on the coding end, but your HTML/CSS knowledge will be helpful with keeping all the pages updated!

@NM: The song inspired the name (as it will inspire the layout) and if i can, i want to have the entire soundtrack available to stream!

I agree with NarnianMelody. "Place For Us" seems to work very well, especially seeing as most (not all) fanfiction out there is dedicated to expanding upon the relationship that is so tragically cut short in the novel/film. It honestly seems like the most logical choice.

I would be more than willing to help. Just let me know what I would have to do, and I'll do it. Luckily, the time restraints placed upon me over the last few weeks have lifted temporarily, and I should be avaliable for the next few weeks.

Iam pleased to tell you all from your original idea has come to fruition.
A site was made a while ago called A Place For us which still strives and is growing more and more.
This site is still alive and I will do my best to help Adam get ppl back here I will not let this rpg site die if i can help it.
To all old members coming and visiting here rejoin us we still need you.
