Jess stared around at the kingdom... their kingdom. Without a word, he picked up a pinecone and threw it into the trees surrounding them. Then he looked back at Leslie's surprised face.

Joyce Ann looked out her indow. She was plain flat out bored. She doodled in her notebook until she heard her mother call her.
"Joyce, can you go tell your brother it's time for dinner?!"
"Fine!!!"
She raced out the door, glad to have something to do. She ran until she got to the rope at the creek.
"JESSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Joyce Ann relaxed at the sound of his and Leslie's voices. She had been really scared that he had hurt himself or Leslie.
