He looked around seeing that the hairy vultures were coming down fast and furious,he remeberd he still had the grenade if he timed it right he could knock out most and the others might get scared and fly off.

Jesse had to summon all the strength he had in his right shoulder flinging the grenade at the lead vulture,exploding and knocking the others away

The pain now in his right shoulder was visible as he flinched.

"You pathetic maggots!!!" Thanos cried at the vultures. "You cowards! Dont run! Regroup, and move in again in delta formation!" (That would be the birds are arranged in a triangular shape as they fly, like the greek letter Delta.)

Dorian joined in with throwing grenades at the Hairy Vultures. He tried to aim them carefully, wanting to make them count.

"Gettin' scared, Thanos?" Dorian mocked.

Meanwhile, in the shadows of the trees, a shrouded figure drew an arrow from his quiver, placed it in his bow, took aim and fired, clipping one of the Hairy Vulture's wings, sending them falling down to the ground.

He looked at Dorian and smirked at him.

"he doesn't seem to be yet but he will"

He saw the vulture fall to the ground and wondered who or what did it,he had to be prepared for anything but if the figure shot the vulture and helped them he or she must be a ally.

Dropping from the sky, Thanos shot off a shot at Jess with his bow as he landed in front of Dorian with daggers drawn. He swung high with the left and thrust with the right.

Jesse saw the arrow and summoned all his strength to lift his armored right arm and blocked the attack,he looked around to see where Thanos was.
His shoulders were now bleeding bad again and seeping through the armor he wore.
